My favorite movies:

MARVEL movies

It's not really original. but I'm going to talk about Marvel movies. I love the licence and most of them are in my favorite movies.
Most of their films are well written and give you chills when you watch them the first time and even afterwards. You can follow your favorite characters throughout the different movies and see their evolution, cry when they die, be tense when they fight and be happy when they win. It's satisfying to see big battles, stories crossing and finally meeting after years of patience. Different characters that have their own movies interacting together, knowing the past of each of them and how they can think. It allows the creation of a complex universe where many heroes can coexist and where everyone can have a favorite character to identify with.

I still have favorites, the Captain America trilogy, mainly because there's my favorite character in it. But also maybe because they are the first I watched when I was little and they made me love superheroes and the Marvel universe.

Even if we can expect, like in most superhero movies, heroes fighting bad guys, some movies still manage to surprise. Like in my favorite, Civil War, where they show us heroes fighting each other because of different ideals that are actually both right, or in Infinity War where they surprised us by showing the heroes lose completely at first. I'm really excited to see the next movies and how they are going to adapt the comics, and I can't wait to see how they're going to surprise us this time.

My favorite Book(s):

maze runner book

The maze runner

As a book, I chose to talk about the Maze Runner. it's a trilogy, written by James Dashner. I'm not sure it's my favorite book anymore, but when I read it for the first time I really appreciated it, and it's the book that made me realize that I loved dystopian stories. Full of mysteries and plot twists, it's one of the books that made me like reading. There are also films based on this story, but there are actually pretty big differences between them and the books.

The Maze Runner's main story is a trilogy, but the author also wrote two prequels, a side story about a character, and a sequel - but I actually found it unnecessary and didn't like it. I'm going to talk about the first book of the main trilogy, The Runner.

The story follows Thomas, an adolescent who wakes up one day in a strange place with no memory except his name. He is surrounded by boys around the same age who explain to him where he is, and that every month "the Box" sends a new person. The place is surrounded by giant walls that actually open into a maze that changes every night and is populated by monsters. Then, a few days after Thomas's arrival, a girl - the only one - is sent, and this is where the story really begins. Strange events are going to follow her arrival, forcing the adolescents to find the exit of the maze for their survival. They are going to have to face many trials to survive and try to discover the truth behind all of that and the people responsible.
